CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES, SUPPLIES, INSTALLATION SUPERVISION, AND ADAPTATION OF EQUIPMENT FOR A WHEEL MANUFACTURING PLANT (STAGE 1)
The construction of a new modern plant was a logical continuation of the implementation of the economic policy of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the creation of a full-fledged vertically integrated railway cluster in the city of Ekibastuz.
INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF EQUIPMENT FOR EXPANSION OF RAILWAY WHEELS PRODUCTION TO A CAPACITY OF 300,000 UNITS PER YEAR
This is the only plant in Kazakhstan producing solid-rolled wheels, which was launched in 2015. Due to the modernization and expansion of the enterprise, the volume of output increased from 200 to 300 thousand wheels per year.
PROJECT FOR THE SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF WHEELSETS
The R.W.S Wheelset plant produces two types of finished axles, wheel sets without axle boxes, wheel sets with axle boxes and wheel sets with cassette-type bearings.
This year, after modernization, the plant reached new productivity figures – 42,000 axles and 20,000 wheel sets per year.
SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE LABORATORY OF THE COMPLEX FOR THE PRODUCTION OF RAILWAY WHEELS
Development and approval of a list of necessary tools, devices and technologies that ensure high-quality testing and control of all stages of manufacturing railway wheels. An important part of the work is the selection of modern equipment that meets industrial safety standards and product quality requirements.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT FOR THE SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ELASTIC CLAMPS
The rail fastening clamp must be very strong, yet it must spring well, so that it absorbs all vibrations that occur when the train moves along the rails. An important property is its resistance to corrosion. The metal from which the clamps are made comes to the plant in the form of steel wire in coils weighing about 3 tons.
