Our projects and initiatives
Wheel Manufacturing Plant (Stage 1)
EPM contract for engineering services and equipment setup for the production of 200,000 railway wheels per year. This is the only plant in Kazakhstan producing solid-rolled wheels, was launched in 2018 in Ekibastuz, providing a high level of automation and compliance with international standards.
Wheel Manufacturing Plant
The contract for engineering services and equipment setup increased the capacity of railway wheel production from 200,000 to 300,000 units per year. The plant now produces more than 10 types of wheels ranging in size from 500 to 1250 mm. Quality control at all stages of production.
Engineering Contract
The 2013–2016 project included the delivery of equipment for the production of wheel sets to the R.W.S. Wheelset LLP plant in Kazakhstan. Launched in 2016, the plant produces 42,000 axles and 20,000 wheel sets per year on an automated line that complies with the country’s industrial and innovative development program, «New Industrialization».
Laboratory Quality Control
The equipment for the laboratory of the railway wheel production complex was supplied in 2019. The equipment was selected and supplied to ensure high standards of quality control and product testing for compliance with the international standards and customer requirements.
Elastic Clamps Manufacturing Plant
The 2017–2021 project involved the supply of equipment for the production of elastic clamps. The clamps must be strong, springy, and corrosion-resistant. The wire they are made from passes through straightening and cutting and bending machines, then undergoes heat treatment to increase hardness and elasticity.
